the swedish national ID card really avoids a lot of issues by also having the english translation next to the swedish terms

for reference, in swedish the same word is used for both gender and sex

if you have more than 30 characters in your full, complete name, you can't get a national ID card that conforms to ICAO Document 9303, as your name would not fit the machine readable area
