Eurovision, fluids

Poland just titled their guitar and activated star power and now the screen is filled with cum and lightning

I wonder how long it will take for rightsholder companies to realize that if they just made getting a license easier, they wouldn't need to try to convince courts and platforms to give them better DMCA tools

like, we're talking $2 a month to get basically every single song out there, and never having to worry about it again

I have finished making a Chibi Kobodal Giraffe hybrid, and now I have to find somewhere to host it 😩

The original is CC-BY-NC-SA with some additions, so I can't really put this off

getting a metal 3D print of klor so I can bean people in the head with a fat kobold

dad was the one with IT knowledge, and he worked ~11 hours a day

I think I knew how to reinstall Windows by the time I was 9, because he'd bring a computer from work that was destined to be scrapped, but didn't have time to do anything with it

they were usually fine, just behind the curve, sometimes it would be a laptop with a busted screen, to which the solution was to literally rip the top half off, but I always had to reinstall Windows

have kinda just realized how much shit I know purely because we didn't have a ton of money growing up

like, significant parts of my IT skills are rooted in me getting computers that was always broken in some way (my first computer was a laptop without a screen!) and having to work around it or fix it, and to this day I'm extremely good at figuring our how to do things with things absolutely not intended for it - like making a rock tumbler out of a food container and a USB fan

also kudos to my parents for realizing that I could get weeks of entertainment from a hot glue gun, a piece of scrap wood, and random junk - i made so many "boats"

Do you remember how long it took you to learn to write when you were in school, and what that involved? Copying letters over and over and over while your hand and fingers strengthened and got used to the movements?

Drawing/painting/other-forms-of-crafting are no different. You're learning a new skill; give yourself space to grow and be patient while you learn. You might be bad at first but that's fine, you're allowed to be. Keep going. Practice is part of the process. 💪

my only option to keep it in stock condition (which I should because it's over 40 years old) is to basically make a new gas tank inside the existing one, without removing it

I would basically need to get a flexible tube of some material which can handle gas, put it through the inlet and outlet of the tank, and then blow hot air through it until it's reached a reformable state where it will retain its structure once cooled - then squeeze the tail end shut to make it take the shape of the tank

if you wonder what I mean by "the gas tank which is inside of the frame", this is what I mean

the frame is stamped sheet metal as well, so it basically can't be cut without ruining the integrity

i have an old moped that gets to go slightly faster than ones registered today

issue is that has a stinky two-stroke and I legally can't change it to something else, and the gas tank which is inside of the frame is going to rust a hole in a year or two

i am not looking forward to having to redo the registration so i can put an electric motor on it
