Kobold leader claims to have found the ultimate magic, a tonic which will turn them into a dragon. The others gather round, enthralled.
The leader downs the full potion. Then another. Then a third. At first nothing happens, but then the kobold begins to grow. And grow. And... not much else.
The potions were all Potions of Permanent Enlarge Person. The kobold is still a bog standard kobold, only dragon sized. The others of the clan are still very impressed.
