@FiXato @halcy most of Europe has much less earthquakes, which is a big deal to underground cables, as you likely have to replace tons of it once it shears off in multiple places.

As for how much soil structure also change things, here in Sweden, at least in the north, a lot of power lines between towns are in the air, and that's because it's hard to dig in the ground to fix a cable when there's 1.5 meters of snow on the surface along the entire access road - which might be tens of kilometers from the closest public road

He's without work these days, because he can't hold any position for too long, once he gets bored of his work he will stir up shit and get fired. He's also basically unable to say anything but what people want to hear (as in lying) so he's a bit tough to talk to as well, you basically can't trust anything he says.

Well, my brother who has pretty severe ADHD and Autism torched a random car and ended up in our equivalent of juvie, so their expectations of indicators might have been a bit extreme.

@pettter Well, 4chan arguably was created because of SA, moot was an active user and would promote it on there, and the oddball humor on Twitter from dril for example also picked up speed on there - many prominent accounts claim to have started on a subforum there from what I can find. Slenderman also comes from SA.

Whether something originated from SA or not is somewhat irrelevant though, what matters more is what it cultivated and grew, that otherwise would've just been forgotten

@pettter What decently sized community which has lived for more than a decade doesn't have an important role to some degree? There are a lot of things in "internet culture" that have come from there, or been popularized by it. A bunch of bad stuff as well, but that's the internet, I suppose.
