apparently you can adjust animations in vrchat based on whether you're in VR or not (VRMode)

@avie@awoo.space it's the first game since platinum that kept my interest, and I don't have any major complaints, just nitpicks if anything
@g at least it's the first battle gimmick I actually enjoy in practice, unlike mega-evolutions (which look great and should've been balanced to be permanent instead) and z-moves (which were just boring), as they didn't really add much
honestly, I enjoyed that it was reserved for special battles, and thus didn't end up being a mandatory part of your strategy
