Hounding everyone at work to get the greenlight to release something under MIT license that I wrote in three hours, with more business value if released, to hammer home how mind-boggling it is that internal policy does not allow me to make this decision on my own

Please, software library developers, release more stuff as AGPL, especially if useful in internal tools at a large corporation

It's not the best license, but it's the best license large corporations will tolerate

And the more often you inconvenience higher ups about this, the faster they will make it easier to take decisions without involving them

Update: no one knows what the actual procedures around this are, but have decided that since it's so small the decision can be taken just a few levels above me, instead of at the country level

Update: green light!

Now just for the issue that our Github org apparently has zero members
